Flab doesn't exist(sort of). Its either muscle, fat or a layered combination.
You can lose fat and firm up and build muscles.
How easy this is depends on where on your body you are talking about.0 -
Strength training is a good way to turn fat into muscle. If you worked consistently, after a month you would notice a difference for sure!0

If you start now with a good strength training program you will look more 'toned' by Christmas.
You can go to a gym and get a program or find a good body weights program on the net, just search for body weight training or body weight strength training. Meantime you could start with push-ups (from the knees if need be), sit-ups, squats, tricep-dips on a chair or low table, side arm-raises holding a heavy book, bicep-curls with the shopping bags (yes, I'm serious). The possibilities are endless.0 -

You cannot turn fat into muscle -.-
Also you really aren't going to see huge gains after 1 month especially is a calorie deficit.
OP:It is important to strength train. Lift so that you maintain as much muscle mass as you can, that way you do not turn into a skinny fat0
