Revelation or just wishful thinking

OK. So I have been thinking and taking in everyone's great advice. My question is......If I hit my 1200 cal. limit and do not exceed it everyday and get at least 600 cal. in everyday working out. My thinking is the 600+ cal. a day doing cardio (plus strength training 4-5 days a week) would amount to at least 3600 cal. towards (6 days working out with 1 day of rest) working out or burned thus resulting in a 1# weight loss a week?
