I am signing up to do the Warrior Dash... I am a little nervous, I know I can do it but I wanted to know if you have any advice or experience you think I should know before I do it.

Any helpful tips on training or what kind of gear I should bring with me would be considered very appreciated as well.

Just did an identical race a few hours ago. Little longer, but the same basic thing. Wear synthetic nylon clothes, like compression tights, or similar. Mud will be in every crevice of your body. Duct tape your shoes to your ankles, so rocks can't get in. Wear gloves with some grip, like football receiver gloves. Train on trails/hills as much as possible.

And just have fun! There are some people who want to finish first, and that's cool. I just wanted to finish with a decent time, and make it through all the obstacles. :)

I just signed up for it too, here in Florida. Have no idea how to get ready but I just finished the Insanity program and now I'm doing P90X and running so I hope that will be enough. Good luck to you!

As far as training, the running parts were fine, since I run all the time. But I did struggle on some of the obstacles that require upper body strength. Those were tough, and next time I'll be more prepared with stronger arms.
