Didn't introduce myself

because I figured I'd just use the tools (logging food and exercise) and not the message boards, but I just can't help myself.
I'm not new to the weight loss deal. I lost a bunch of weight with Body for Life about a decade (and 3 kids) ago and loved it. But somehow ended up at a low point of a king-sized Milky Way bar chased with a 20 oz bottle of chocolate milk habit. Ouch. Yeah, I packed on the pounds.
I decided I need to make sure my kids have somewhat healthy parental units in their lives (and Lloyd knows I want to rock some hot clothes and new tattoos) so about a month ago I decided to get my butt moving. Exercise. Eating healthy. All that good stuff.
I've had ups and downs, but I'm really enjoying the feeling of working out. Actually DOING something to better my life. It feels really good and I can FEEL myself getting stronger and fitter each week. It's almost addictive. And reading the success stories here? I can't even describe how it inspires me to move my lazy butt on low energy days.
So..hi.

I've been sticking to the tools alone and the couple friends I have that joined it with me. However, as they have become much less active it has become less supportive for me and I decided to hop into the message boards. What an inspiration it is and makes it easier for me to hear about how other people have managed to overcome their obstacles... so I can, too!
Good luck this go-around!0 -
Thank you! And to you as well.
Reading the message boards has become a new hobby. )0 -
I really enjoy the message boards too, your tattoo is very cool, like you I have lost weight before, am really determined to keep it off this time. Good Luck.0
