Hiya guys just had a big sunday dinner want to go to the gym i wondered how long you guys normally wait before exercising ? xxx

    After a big meal i wait at least 2 hours or I feel all weighted down and yuck x

    Depends on your workout, and how YOU feel.

    30 -60 min atleast.

    LOL You're thinking of swimming.

    I suppose it depends on what you ate. If you're talking about a huge Sunday Dinner, I could see how you'd feel sluggish and bloated and not very workout-y. BUT: my doctor recommends eating or drinking something with both carbs and protein in it, no more than 10 minutes before beginning a workout. Just to ensure that you'll have enough energy for a really good workout. I suppose it also depends on how fast & efficiently your metabolism processes energy, so it probably varies by person, but that's what he recommended for me.
