Hello and happy Saturday to everyone.

I have been tracking my food some what lately but this week I have been pretty good at doing so.
I am not very good at dieting and staying away from sweets. I LOVE sweets...I cannot lie and it is killing me. I am also one of the moms who will usually finish what is on their child's plate. Well not anymore. I am working with a trainer at the gym and I have lost about 6-7 pounds but now I am not really loosing anymore. So now I am on strict diet of chicken and well chicken.

Just seeing if anyone out there was doing the same thing or had struggles with sweet foods...or just wanted to be friends.
I am going to see how long I can do this and last. I hope I can because I have invested a ton of money in a trainer and the membership at the gym. I don't want it to just go down the drain.

Oh and my trainer is giving me one cheat day out of the week....so guess that is a good thing.

Hope to hear from someone :)

There area always smarter options. Like Ice cream? Eat frozen yogurt. I feel like you shouldn't deprive yourself of foods you love, it just makes it more likely you'll binge. It's all about moderation. Eat 1 scoop of ice cream once a week instead of half a pint a day. YOU CAN DO IT!!

I tend to eat raspberries and strawberries with greek yoghurt, or sometimes a small amount of jam swirled though the yoghurt to get a sweet fix. Unfortunatley though my downfall is savory
  • Oh girl! I'm the same way. My son has a weight issue because of meds he's on. It's so hard for him to gain weight. We had only fuits, veggie, nuts, and chicken in the house. But when I saw that he lost 10 pounds since school started I flipped. So now he has a drawer full of snacks, cookies, anything to help him gain weight. Now, I'm not a sweets person, more of a carbs person. EXCEPT for oreos! And that's in my son's drawer because he loves them too. I was reeeeeled into it lol! BUT- here's the thing. I limited myself to how many I ate. I mean usually I could eat an entire bag lol. But when I crave something sweet, I eat like 4 oreos. And this is where the site comes into handy. I record those oreos and if I'm not over my sugar/fat, then I'm happy.
Now, as for the plateu of not losing weight. I JUST experienced that last week. I asked for some advice on here and someone told me to change up my exercises. So I did. And then BAM- lost another 2 pounds. BUT, since you're going to a trainer, have you talked to him about it? He would know more. But know this, EVERYONE hits a plateu. And it's more than discouraging isn't it!? DO NOT LET THAT GET YOU DOWN THOUGH. KEEP GOING! I will say this though lol... that's all I usually eat- chicken. Breakfast and lunch I have a smoothie with fruits and spinach leaves. I love smoothie so it's easy to stick to that. And I love chicken breast! So I have something with chicken breast in it. Usually a chicken salad bc I've found some crutons that I just LOVE! I have started to love eating salads. I actually crave them.
Anywho- I'm blabbig on! I'm gonna add ya to my friends.... I'd like to support ya :)
  • I have had the skinny cow ice cream....it is great!!
  • thank you.
