I am new to myfitnesspal. My name is Lisa. I am 23, from Ohio. I am trying to get healthy and fit as I have Rhuematory arthritis. I heard this site is very helpful and decided to give it a shot :)

    Welcome, Lisa! My sister also has RA (since she was 16). Unfortunately, she has been obese for most of her life (WAY larger than you) and has had both knees replaced, handicapped plates, etc. She is 54 now. I am convinced if she made the same decision as you at your age to get healthier she would be in much better condition now. Congratulations on taking this step while you are still very young. You will have a very good chance of remitting this disease by doing so! Very best wishes on your wellness journey!
