Recently purchased a new polar heart monitor to accurately track calories burnt during exercise, do you find that they track accurately? Do you find them useful for weight loss?
Also I was reading that they do not accurately track calories burnt during weight training or body pump classes, does anyone have any experience with this.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

They do not work with weight training if you are training for strength for power. If it's in a routine emphasizing cardio, it'll operate normally.
P.S. My HRM was very essential when I was cutting weight for competitions.0 -
Only just gotten around to buying why, still can't figure out why I haven't before now...0
