So I've worked my butt off ALL week. Watched what I've eaten and done at least 40 minutes of exercise every day. And around spins my weekly weigh day and I've only lost 0.4 kg. WHAT!
Normally I lose about 1kg a week.
So I'm feeling pretty bummed. I was hoping for a really good change on the scales, because I needed that hit of motivation.
Siigh. Anyway, that's my little rant over.

We all have off times. I have been completely unhealthy and lost, and then ate really well and gained. Stick to it and it will pay off. :D

Slow and steady wins the race. 0.4 kg is a pound! A pound a week is a good goal. A kg a week is an awful lot!
I find some weeks I don't lose at all, I had about three weeks where I was about the same, and now the last two weeks I lost two lbs per week.
Keep your chin up and don't lose your motivation. Think about months from now, not days from now.
  • its okay! .4 kg is still losing! you might think of taking a break though. Sometimes it helps to lose weight if you take a day or two off. just one where you don't exercise.

Though, if nothing else, it is a tribute to your determination that you have managed to exercise at least 40 minutes a day C: I think that is a great accomplishment.

I agree with the last poster. I've had bad days and lost and had good days and gained. The latter is more frustrating. You probably aren't burning as many calories as you did when you started. If you aren't happy with your progress in a couple of weeks, try adding in some more exercise.

That. There have been weeks where I burned over 3500 cals from exercise and stuck to/stayed under my calorie goal and was up a bit at the end of the week. And then last week, I ate more than normal, worked out less than normal and lost over 3 lbs.

Well, I've been at the same weight for 4 months now . . . at least my inches are moving downward.
