Ok so....

I am actually getting the hang of making the little changes in my diet to have less calories. It's not really as hard of a choice as i thought. Judging by my food diary it benefits me in a big way. You can do it too! Less calorie food dont all have to taste bad. Some of the things i have changed actually taste pretty good. Diets dont have to be all about tasting like cardboard as they say. I even have my husband trying out some things to see if we like them and no complaints so far!

For example:

Hellman's Real Mayo = 90 cals per 1 Tbsp - Hellman's with Olive Oil = 40 cals per Tbsp, Starbucks Caramel Frapp = 490 cals - Iced Caramel Macchiato w/nonfat milk = 270 cals, Ragu Alfredo sauce = 90 cals per 1/4 cup - Classico Alfredo (Roasted Red Pepper) 60 cals per 1/4 cup, Regular hamburgers Apx. 300 cals per patty - Jenny-O Turkey burger patty = 200 cals per patty!

All of this stuff tastes pretty great and its the small changes that start to count first. You dont have to drop everything cold turkey and go all out on organic or vegan or vegetarian or whatever it may be. Take it slow and work your way up. By making these small changes for my diet its helping me tremendously!

WHAT CHANGES SMALL CHANGES HAVE YOU MADE TO CUT OUT CALORIES? ARE THEY WORKING OUT FOR YOU? DO YOU SEE A DIFFERENCE WEIGHT WISE OR EVEN JUST CALORIE INTAKE WISE?

Half portions of things like cheese, salad dressing, oils and butter. The taste is still there, just less fat and cals.

I switched my 1/2 and 1/2 for skim milk in my coffee. Nasty at first, but now I love it.

I have omitted sugar in my coffee. I have stopped eating packaged frozen foods for lunch. I also have started using mustard instead of mayo on sandwiches.....all of these are helping to take off the weight for me!!!
