Apart from what you do as a career, whether your a student, etc? What are your hobbies? Anything unique that you do thats opposite from what you do on a daily basis?

ME - Full time student - Psychology Major (and absolutly love it and can't wait to go to grad school)

But apart from that: My Hobbie/Favorite Interest is Designing - Fashion that is....Particularly crocheting purses, etc and uniquely making clothes, and other things...I love it with all my heart!

Oh and I play the piano!! :)

Whats yours?

    I knit a little.
    I also cross stitch.
I used to fiddle with my computer (would swap out parts and try out all sorts of open source software).
  • I work as a teacher at the local high school during the day, and at night I work at a bakery. When I'm not working, I'm belly dancing, participating in medieval reenactment events, or designing my own chainmaille jewelry :)

I'm a professional bladesmith (yes, hammer, fire, steel), build stupid fast cars for fun, write, read, draw, build computers, create interesting artwork via my computer...

That's about all that I can think of. Sucks though because lately, all I have time for...is WORK!
  • I try to balance my hobbies with active ones and physical ones

    I write,
    draw,
    sculpt,
    do arts and crafts,
    and Quilt

    AND

    I ride motorcycles,
    enjoy target practice,
    playing pool,
    bowling,
    and swimming.

Mostly the Linux Administration Handbook. I've been getting a lot of more out of that than I thought I would

Hobbies... Jewelry making. Mostly crystals for delicate stuff, but love chain maille for the heavier duty stuff.
Photography. Got a Canon 40D 2 years ago & still learning with that. Mostly nature, and landscape but eventually would like to get into sports & animals. Not really into people shooting, probably because I do not like my pix taken!
Reading. Pretty much anything from sappy romance to murder mystery. Some auto bios, self-help.
Cooking. Mostly desserts, specializing in chocolate. Don't do much now mostly cuz I can't eat my "mistakes" anymore! lol
Sleeping. I'm awesome in bed... I can sleep for hours!
  • I have an MBA, am an accountant and studying for a CPA exam. However, on my freetime I am none of that. I am extremely interested in psychology and in people's feelings and needs. During my freetime I am usually helping someone out. Thats been my hobby lately. Ive had alot on my plate for taking the needs of others into my hands but i know i can do this and once i decide on helping i do not stop until my "project" is complete. It starts with changing their appearance, finding them a job, or helping them find peace in their hearts.
I sometimes wish I was a psychologist to get paid to help :)

My other hobby is shopping and decorating my house.
  • I collect dragon stuff...I AM THE COOLEST PERSON ON HERE LOL

Program Director for a private therapeutic boarding school. Hobbies are horses, gardening, reading, collecting stones and crystals and I silversmith when I get a moment which is rare these days. Oh and I love to smoke meats. Give me a reason to fire up the smoker and I'll cook low and slow all day.
