Okay, I think it's time to make a new challenge. It's one that involves eating healthy, working out, and NO scale!
Here it is: Stay near your calorie goal every day (+/-200), workout at least 5 times a week, and eat food that is actually good for you! Simple, right? Here's the challenging part: DON'T STEP ON THE SCALE!! Too many people get so caught up in the number they become obsessed and lose sight of getting healthy. Instead, notice how much more energy you have, how much better your body feels, and how happy the combination of these things make you feel. I understand most people want to know they are losing weight for working so hard so measure yourself intead of weighing in. If you want to tone up or lose only a few lbs, take pictures of yourself every other week (it's harder to lose inches when only losing a few lbs so it could be easy to get discouraged, trust me, I've been there
)
This post can serve as support and what not (mainly because I'm wayyy to busy to start a seperate blog area for it, sorry :frown:). Hope I'm not the only person that likes the idea!
Feel free to introduce yourself and tell everyone about your goals
I'm Hillary, 21 years young, full-time student, part-time waitress. I'm going to school to be an ultra-sound tech (only 3 more yrs left woot woot!!) I want to lose 10 more lbs before toning up and I'm doing it by only eating right and working out..no diet pills or program scams!!
