I am thinking about training for a 5k with my 9 year old daughter.

Go for it! It would be a great way to get in exercise time and special together time in all at once. You could start out slow--maybe just walking most of the first one if needed, and if she likes it, you could train together and do another one until you are both running in them often. I've heard it can be addicting...and better to be addicted to running 5Ks than to junk food or video games, right?? Let us know how it goes!0

IDK, I thought it was 5 miles, Maybe more. Who knows just something to work towards. One mile would be a start. We are going to start Wednesday. Just a little here and there.0
