I did 915 right and 914 left yesterday... first time I've done hula in over a year. OOPs because today I went to pick something up by bending over and OUCH MY BACK!

I took a couple ibuprofen and hit the hot tub for 15 min. I can still feel it but subsequent bending overs (done much more carefully) aren't too bad. I hope I'm NOT feeling it tomorrow - is there anything else I should be doing? Was ibuprofen the best choice? Should I have more before bed?

Mind I think you get points for each hula hoop that you catch on that game, so it was probably 1/4 the actual "hoops" number but whatever it was, it was more than my lower back wanted to do apparently...

Super Hula should be more of a core activity than a lower back one. Concentrate on moving from your belly button and hips. Your back should almost never hurt if exercises are done correctly.
Ibuprofen helps with inflammation, but the reason your back was hurting is so you will remember that you "injured" it - just don't overdo it.
