what do you do to feel better after a half-marathon?

rest and hot baths!!! oh--and advil also!0

Stretch! Even after 6 miles I need to stretch for the next two days to keep from tightening up and feeling achy. I'm really starting to feel my age. LOL You might also find that it helps to ice the achy areas immediately afterward.0

Rest.
I usually take at least one full day off, then the next day light workout. If i need I will relax in a hot bath and definitely take advil.0 -
get out and walk or jog. Nothing strenuous -- just slow. You'll be amazed how much better you'll feel. Tough at first -- but it'll help reduce your soreness.0

Keep the muscles loose with LIGHT exercise. Epsom salt baths also help.0
