I buy "Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey" and it's definately the best one I've ever tried. My favourite flavours are double rich chocolate and mint chocolate. It's £40 from a local health shop for one 5lb tub (around 77 servings)
Mixes easily and tastes nice with just water. 110-130 cal, 1-3g carbs (depending on flavour) around 1g fat and 24g protein.0 -
thanks guys0

I buy mine at Walmart. Whey Protien . But I have to mix it with 1% Milk.
One of the ones I make is : 8 oz milk ,2 tsp. cheesecake pudding add some blueberries. Yummy!!!0 -
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard gets my vote as well. It mixes better than any of the others I've tried whether it's in water, skim milk or 2% milk it always mixes well in just a shaker cup. Taste wise I'd put it close to the top as well, no nasty after taste.0

It depends on personal taste, I have used many brands Maximuscle, Phd, Reflex and currently BSN.
All the above have their merits, in all honesty I only stopped Maximuscle because of cost. My favourite because of taste is BSN Chocolate & Peanut Butter though this has more caloreis than say Phd.
My protein is ok but you often have to add flavour which can be a faff. Try different brands and flavours to see what suits but in my opinion stay away from anything that is "mass builder" is diet or has creatine,0 -
yeah, all the flavours sort of put me off a bit, id rather just eat some food rather than shakes and stuff tbh, just its so much easier to use the shakes0

I like Dymatize Elite or Iso-100 whey. Very low in carbs and mixes well in water. Always check the calories, fat and carbs when you buy protein. Some get pretty high up there and are more of a meal replacement than a protein supplement.0
