Question about the Exercise Diary

I don't like that as soon as you enter something in the exercise diary it updates on your newsfeed. I like to do several things throughout the day and would like to record them when I remember the stats for it. Would prefer being able to post it at the end of the day like you do on the food diary.

I realize that is a suggestion for an enhancement, but my question is, can you add exercise notes throughout the day without that posting to the news feed . I could live with that and not have it post until I actually go back and post all the individual items under cardio at the end of the day.

I suppose if that doesn't work, I can post notes on the food diary so I remember and then just post them all at once at the end of the day.

Add your exercise to your NOTE section and dont claim it by checking any boxes until you're completely finished.

That's the easiest way to accomplish your goals.

Yep, I do that too. If you go to the "My Home" tab at the top and then to "Settings" you'll see one called "Automatic News Feed update settings". Go in there and check or uncheck anything you don't want to post. Unfortunately it won't post on your feed at all that way but the only other alternative is what Monica posted.

It really WOULD be much better and more efficient if we had a button like the Food Diary to COMPLETE for the day.

I have requested this several times myself...

I started just entering things in the note field and adding them all at the end of the day.
Notes to not go on the newsfeed -- only when you actually add an exercise.
