Really sore from doing Yoga? normal?

Is is normal to be sore after doing Yoga?

Depends what yoga you did. When I do Jillian's yoga I am super sore. When I do a fusion yoga sometimes I feel a little sore sometimes not. Gentle yoga should not make you feel sore, just stretched. Make sure you are not going beyond a position than your body can allow. If you have trouble taking a deep breath it usually means that you are too far into the posture for your body. Over time it will get easier. Hope this helped a little!0

Definitely. I do crunches and ab exercises a few times a week but whenever I do my 15 minute yoga ab exercises I'm always sore the next day. It means you're working some new muscles and not quite used to it yet. That's a good thing!0

It is normal. Even from stretching - if I push myself correctly, I'll be sore for one or two days - even after 11 years of practice0
