Is it bad to go over your protein "allowance" for the day? I've heard both "yes" and "no" ....so I'm kinda confused!! :frown:

Generally no, but it depends on how it effects your other parameters.

For example, if it brings you over your calorie total, this would effect your weight loss.
If you stay at your calorie goal but neglect dietary fats in favor of proteins, it's possible that it can effect hormone levels, but this would take a while.

Generally, if it were me, exceeding my protein goal would be fine as long as I'm still within range of my calorie goal.

Doubtful. I would go in and manually changes your settings under goals. You'll need to do the custom setting. I switched mine so it is 30% carbs, 40% protein and 30% fat. I rarely go over on anything.
