I'm sure there are some guys out there that have incorporated yoga into their diets plans... I was wondering if anyone could recommend/not recommend yoga. What to expect as far as results (i.e. weight loss, overall benefits???).

LMK! Thanks.

i have only done the P90x yoga dvd, its pretty tough actually, I end up sweating pretty good from it but havent utilized it as a primary weight loss thing...It helps my flexibility, core strength, you do alot of pushups then it gets to some pretty hard to do poses, so do only what ya can handle!

Not male myself, but I don't think there is a difference in benefits.

It may or may not help you lose weight. My advice is to give a few classes a try, at a few different studios and see what you think.

It won't help you if you don't like to go.

I'm a guy, and I do yoga once or twice a week...usually on my off days from the gym. Yoga is beneficial for a lot of reasons: improves muscle tone, flexibility, strength and stamina, reduces stress and tension, improves circulation, stimulates the immune system, and creates a sense of well being and calm...among other things.

I just pop in a DVD and do it in my living room for about 20-30 mins.
