Since I've been doing this in May, I've religiously stuck to no more than 1200 calories a day, and I've never eaten back exercise calories (I know, I know, it's bad), but it worked for me.
But, I realised I've technically not lost any weight in 6 weeks; lost 2lbs, gained 3 (birthday weekend, oops), lost 1. The first 2lb lost took a LOT of effort, a LOT of exercise, and I was so strict on myself.
So, my question is, if I give myself a total allowance of 1500 calories, but keep my net calories between 700 & 1200 (I'm taking baby steps towards starting to eat back my exercise calories), and got to the gym 3 times a week burning between 750 & 550 calories a session, amongst other exercise, will I still loose weight?
I don't want to up my calories and just start gaining weight, that thought scares me a lot. They really should write a book called "weight loss for dummies" because I feel like a total dummy right about now.
Help please, so confused by all this
