I just heard about this too. Reminded me of my cousin who teaches spinning classes. She taught 4 classes the day she delivered her first child. I could not even imagine doing either thing in the last trimester never mind the day of delivery!

It's the second race she's ran with this same pregnancy. From what I've heard on the news, the baby is healthy with no complications. I'd be too scared to run such a long race (or even run at all) so close to delivery.

I didn't even want to move at the end of my last pregnancy. I don't think you could have gotten me to run even if you were waving food in front of my face. Go her!

She did not push herself and had been running her entire pregnancy. My doctors told me I could continue any activity I was doing prior to my pregnancy as long as I was comfortable.

She'd been running the whole pregnancy, and as long as you don't get winded (too little oxygen) there's no harm to baby :)
Go her. I walked MILES during the last weeks of my pregnancy, all the time. Never did any good, but I hated sitting around and waiting.

I think it is awesome. I personally hurt down yonder ways WAY too much to run. I could barely walk...but if I could have ran, I would have ran :)

Yeah, me too. Haven't been feeling too well today but I'm so gonna run further than I ever have tomorrow! (assuming I feel better, of course - not gonna push too hard if I genuinely can't, haha)
