Hello everybody! How is it going? Its been pretty quiet up here on the boards so I figured that I would start a post for today. I must confess, I've been a little off my game for the past couple of days - haven't been feeling the best - but its a new day! I've been going pretty steady with Tae Bo alternating the cardio workouts with the Ab Bootcamp - I can feel the difference in my sides all ready. I really want to start jump roping - nothing tones legs like jump roping! What have the rest of you been doing? Are there any other good workouts that you guys do from home? I'm really not to sure of what other good DVD's there are that I might try out but I am definately open to new ideas! Have a great day everyone :flowerforyou:

Hi there,
All is going well for me, I weigh in on Mondays, so did so this morning (it is 2 pm here, UK) and I lost antoher 3 lbs, bringing my total loss since New Year to 9 lbs - woo hoo!! I am also measuring and have lost 2 cm, so nearly an inch off my waist AND off my hips! :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
I am alternating swimming with using the lateral thigh trainer, keeping my total calorie intake around 1800 cals and that is working for me (bearing in mind I burn an extra 500 per day breastfeeding and also workout 5 days out of 7, I don't eat many of the extra exercise cals, but all the extra breastfeeding ones) It is defo working for me for now so will stick with it till my body adapts and the loss stops - then I know from experience you need to chang stuff around to shock your body into losing again :bigsmile:0 -

I also having been doing Tae Bo but I also alternate with Biggest Loser Cardio Max and my Walk Away The Pounds DVD's, last week I started doing 2 dvd's back to back so I was getting a total hour workout in at once, BOY that kicked my butt but it felt so wonderful when I was done.:drinker: (water)

Hi Red team!
I'm still huffing and puffing and a bit dizzy from walking up 11 flights of stairs after lunch. It's days like that that I wish I had a government job. Why do I have to work today on Martin Luther King day? Such a bummer!0 -
I went to the gym today since I was off for MLK sorry karlaw that you had to work:frown: I took a 60 min water aquafit class and boy did she work us. And did 15-20 min of strength training afterwards which was one cycle in the ladies gym. I have lost 2 more pounds as of today and I will weigh again tomorrow to see if the scale will give me anything else for my official Red Team weigh in. I parked in a far parking spot(it always amazes me how people fight over the close spots at the gym are they not coming to work out anyway???:huh: ) Hmm I guess i still haven't found something to do that I've never done before. Have to work on that. :drinker:

Hey Red Team??
I don't see a post about our weigh in today. Where did everyone go?
I am down 2 pounds again this week, from 192.6 last week to 190.6 this week. But I don't know if it counts because I came down with a stomach flu yesterday. I'm getting pretty dehydrated. I hope the scale doesn't go the other way next week after I get better.
Unfortunately, my 2 year old daughter got sick the same time as me. I left work "early" at 4pm yesterday. The babysitter called as soon as i got home to tell me to pick up my sick child. So I've been home sick today taking care of myself and my little girl. She seems better, but I still don't have much of an appetite.0
