I love running but hate exercising! Whats a girl to do?

In 2010 I ran 2010 kms, this year I've run probably 10 kms total. It was getting that running wasn't keeping the weight off, I was running but eating too much, then running and hurting my knees, now I don't do any running and I really really hate exercise. I managed to gain 48 lbs in a couple summers. Groan!! I have bar bells, exercise ball etc. Maybe I should start real slow and get some weight off first?

    Do both! It's the best way to keep the weight off.

    I was thinking that about the time I have only 50 more pounds to lose that I would start running. Unless there is a medical reason not to run, starting with at least a little running in intervals while you build up should be okay. Maybe you could look into the C25K (Couch to 5K) program, it could get you up to speed in 9 weeks.
