I'm interested in buying a few. I think that I would be much more comfortable doing those in my own home than going to the gym everyday. The only problem I have with that though is that I do not own a heart rate monitor so how would know how many calories I burned doing a DVD workout. Does anyone have any solutions?

Sorry. The title cuts off. This is about using workout DVDS.

there is an awesome website called caloriesperhour.com, you can probably do a search there and it should tell ABOUT how many calories you burned. I use at home dvd's as well with no HRM. Or you can go to exercise and do it by light aerobics for pilates or something like that. Hope this helps!

I like that site too, today it seems to be broken, it said 30 min on treadmill at 3.2 mph I'd burn like 9000 cals and walk 92 miles  Wish it were true!

YOU CAN BUY A HEART RATE MONITOR FOR 11 BUCKS AT WALMART OR
U CAN REPLACE SUMTIN SIMLIAR TO WHAT YOUR DOING IN UR DVD AND THE TIME IT SHOULD COME OUT ABOUT THE SAME.

LIKE IF UR DOING 40 MINUTE DVD ON CARDIO INVOLVING DANCING AROUND PUT IT AS ADANCINF FOR HOW EVERL ONG U DID IT. ANDU MARK STRENTH TRAINING AS SO.
    HOPE THAT HELPS

I was just about to ask a similar question about wondering what my mph were for walking 2 miles in 30 minutes were and I was reading this post and went and check it out and got my question answered. THANK YOU :flowerforyou:
