I have been trying to talk a multi-vitamin once a day. I know I should take them with meals but I've also read that you shouldn't take calcium with a food that is calcium rich. Since I usually drink milk (for protein and calcium) with my meals should I not take the supplement with a meal? If I realize its the end of the day and I forgot to take my supplement should I take it on an empty stomach?

Don't drink milk for calcium, it has been proven time and again to actually leach calcium out of the bones. Yes, it's true. It's a total lie that dairy products are good for your bones.
I wouldn't ever suggest taking vitamins on an empty stomach. They will make you feel sick. Just take them after you eat.0
