Hi Ladies, My name is Erica. I am looking for woman who are ttc and do not have children to get support from and give support to. My info: I have been ttc for 2 years. We have not used any type of pertection at all in 2 years and have a pretty active sex life which is why it is hard for me to understand why we have not gotten pregnant. If you want to be apart of this group tell a little about your self

Erica, have you been to a Gyno? had your hormones tested? ultrasound? I have PCOS which is the #1 cause of infertility.0 -

Around here you have to be reffered to a specialist (dumb) and got referred for an ultrasound to check out my organs and they didn't find anything. They were supposed to call back to do tests and never did and I don't know where to go now.0 -

Some of the equipment he used in Iraq is known to cause infertility so I'm a little worried about that0 -

Beacuse I wanted to lol. I want kids more than I want a career (no joke) as bad as that sounds. I have been with the same person since I was 15 and we are married so it isn't as bad as it sounds. We want two kids and already have names and nursery themes picked out.0 -

I am starting to worry its my hubby. He works outside and in ship tanks which get over 100 degrees all day everyday and I read that the heat can cause infertility. Everyone in my family has had no issues getting pregnant. My mom had 5 kids in 7 years and my sister had a baby and she didn't even want kids. I joke and tell my hubby he needs to stuff ice packs in his pants while he is at work or he should stop working for 3-4 months to get some healthy swimmers and get me pregnant then go back to work. He is going to start taking a multivitamin for the vit e and I hope that helps. I don't know where to go for a specialist. The reg gyno won't do tests like that for some reason you have to be referred to someone0 -

It took my friend almost 7 years to have her baby. 6 1/2 years into it, she finally went to the doctor, and it was some kind of thyroid issue with her that she was able to get fixed with just one pill per day. 2 months later she was pregnant with her daughter. Long story short, go see a doctor and don't wait 6 years to go.0 -

Yes those test must be done by a specialist. I don't know how regular insurance works, but for the Army insurance I had to get a referral to see the head of the obgyn department. My husband and I are both on vitamins so hopefully that helps =] We won't know until January though lol.0 -

they told me I had to be reffered. I was referred for an ultrasound and they found nothing. I had to have it before I could see the dr and they never called back for a follow up appt to do more tests.0 -

If you've been trying for two years, then you fit the clinical definition of infertility, though that can range from serious (never getting pregnant) to fixable. Your best bet is to go see a doctor with your husband and try to figure out if it's timing, him, or what.

Just my two cents worth of barn yard logic. Make sure the hubby wears boxers, not briefs. Not to be a kill joy or anything but being older and wiser, I think it's a good idea to get a lap dog first as they require a lot of attention and time. If you are up to the job of taking care of the little doggie, then think about children.0

Erica what did they do an ultra sound of? Did they do a vaginal ultrasound to look at your ovaries? Also what about blood tests like a thyroid test? Hormone testing? Insulin levels? Do you know if your ovulating? Do you track your temps or cv?,0

he wears knit boxers and they are like a size too big so his undies arent a problem. We have two small dogs. One i've had since she was 5 weeks old and I still want a baby. We kept my sisters kid for a whole week when he was like 6 months old and we still want a baby and he didn't sleep and cried all they time ( and I mean all the time). and i baby sat him everyday till he was nearly a year old and a lot after that an still want a baby. Nothing can change my mind all I have ever wanted was to be a mother.

it was a pelvic ultrasound of my uterus and ovaries, they didn't find anything. I had all my hormones and thyroid checked years ago for migraine and they didn't find anything wrong. I want to star tracking temp but need a bbt them. and i don't track cv because i get nervous that i am tracking it wrong. i need to read up some more on cv tracking and start doing it.
