when i use MFP suggested cal burn, it was around 220 for 30 day shred.

when I use my HRM for cal burn it was around 205 - 240 depending on my effort.

For me, I was comfortable only using my HRM when I felt like it, since I know the MFP calculation is quite close. I cannot say how close it will be for any other person, though. We all burn at different rates.

I started the 30 day shred today the second time around. At level one i burn around 200 cal. according to my hrm. I am 5'2 and 138lbs.

Most people will say that MFP overcalculates the calorie burn for them. It is the opposite for me for most activities.. I usually burn a good amount more than MFP calculates for most activities, but that's because I push myself as hard as I can, every workout. I don't just get in the zone and stay there, I push, to the max, lol. If you're in the process of getting your HRM don't worry too much, go ahead and log whatever MFP says until you have the HRM (assuming you will have it soon.) It's all just an estimate anyways.
