Anything that is made with water. But certain added ingredients not good. coffee,tea etc.0

Water=h2o. It's so important for your body to get the proper amount of water. While things that have water in them technically count- please try to get at least 64 oz! It helps your skin, your mind and your body work and feel better.0

Yep you're right! Coffee and tea are major diuretics which means they make you pee more/dehydrated.0 -
The amount of caffeine in green tea can vary, with some types relatively high in caffeine and some low. It certainly doesn't have the same diuretic potential as coffee.0

It is true high amounts of caffeine will dehydrate you. However, the amount contained in a cup of tea (even coffee) isn't high enough. You still have a net fluid gain! (water in the cup of tea minus dehydration >0)0

The whole caffeine is a diuretic thing (true) and therefore it will dehydrate you (untrue) is a long debunked myth I’m afraid, typically you will retain half to two thirds of the liquid in a mug of coffee and if like me you are a regular caffeine doser you will retain even more. You would have to be chugging very very strong espressos all day for this to actually make any sense.
Your body doesn’t care where the water comes from, we have a whole digestion system, if there’s water in it your body will easily take it out unless something’s seriously wrong with you.0 -

It irks me when folk say things are BAD... or that only water counts as water. If some folk want to believe that, that's fine, but it's not a deal-breaker and it won't stop you from losing weight as long as you stay hydrated.
The idea is to take sufficient fluids in over the course of the day...they say on average about 2 L/65 floz. If you happen to enjoy a few glasses/cups of green tea then that's a brilliant way to top up your intake.
Personally I always have coffee in the morning and Dr Pepper Zero in the evening and water throughout the day. Finding the balance that suits you and your needs is important as that will help you stick to your programme and not waiver or crave things to the point of binging. :happy:0
