Ruby Tuesday has some lower fat options available on their menu that give you the calorie content. I love their mashed cauliflower. Its very good.0

The only 2 I know of are Weatherspoons and Harvester.
I wish restaurants would give a calorie guideline on menus even if it is 'Under 500cals' '500-800cals' '800cals and over'
Have a great time wherever you end up

The internet is your friend - most chain restaurants now have their info online so with a little planning, you can make sensible choices. I did this with a recent trip to Nando's.
I'm reasonably sure that Frankie & Benny's have a section on their menu with a few healthy dishes that have calorie info. It might be worth asking your waiter, too, as some places produce a separate nutritional info guide for their food.0 -
Nandos! There's a 20quid option for a whole chicken and two sides i think, i get the spicy rice and share the chicken with my boyfriend. works out well! it's tasty and filling
Also, harvester, whetherspooms, pizza express, Just have a google0 -
Pizza Express, Strada and Cafe Rouge do 'healthy options' - check out their websites. Also Nandos are ok if you leave out the chips. Yo Sushi provide calories on their website too. Good luck! If you end up somewhere you can;t do this just eat half of what you'd normaly eat! Good luck and have fun!0

Strada don't list calories for all their dishes but as Morenita said, they do have a side box listing the dishes which are under 600 calories which is useful.

I dont know where you live but... www.calorieking.com is a GREAT free-to-use website for nutritional information. They include alot of name brands and restaurants' meals there as well.
You can easily adjust the portions and it auto-adjusts the NI for you right there....0 -
i agree w/ going online. i have found almost every restaurant in our area with their calories/fat listed
Usually labeled "nutritional information" on their website.
planning ahead is the key - and make sure you have an alternative. i was planning to order soup at a local restaurant b/c it was low-cal, only to find out when i got there they were out of it that day. luckily i had scoped out something else, otherwise i wouldn't have known what to choose.0 -
I don't know if they have their calorie info online but at Texas roadhouse you can order your steak without butter and oil, sweet potato dry with just cinnamon and broccoli steamed without butter and it will probably be about the same calorie count as making those things at home. Restaurants love to add butter and oil, asking them to takes these things out if they can will lower calories a bunch!0

Almost all chain restaurants have info online. and in MFP. applebees has some good lower calorie choices. don't count on good sodium levels though!0

if you want to go out for a good meal, it's best not to worry about the cals and enjoy your meal and get back on track the next day. 1 meal isn't going to totally sabotage your diet0 -

But for them, they may not trust themself to maintain some limits when going out and therefore to look up any available nutritional information ahead of time is actually a smart thing to do if they are 100% dedicated to their WL journey...
Id rather be in troubleshoot-mode - because if you only research one meal that is definitely a go-to choice, you get there and they are all out - well, your SOL because you didnt look up the other meals ahead of time and then you definitely get the no-holds-barred feeling....
nahhh, Im with the troubleshooting mode! 8-)0 -
Applebee's is always my "go to" place. They have WW dishes with some in the 300 range. Good luck and enjoy!:happy:0

We ate in several restaurants over the last four days while on vacation. I was amazed at how many restaurant meals were already in the tracker. That may only apply to US chain restaurants, but it was nice to have.
