Hey everyone

As the title suggests, I have been on myfitness pal before but left to try different diets and find out which best suited me, however, after a lot of time and money, im back to where I originally started.

To keep myself motivated I have binned my old profile and rejoined again with a brand new profile and a "fresh start" I feel that for me it's better to do this so that I can log in and everything is as if I've never been here. it's a good mental and visual aid to begin my long journey.

Like all new members I will need a bunch of motivating friends to keep me on track so feel free to add me.

This time round instead of setting my overall weight loss goal, I have decided that I am going to set my goals to lose 1 stone at a time. I feel this is better for me because it's an achievable hurdle and lets me see and feel like im getting somewhere. from past experience trying to reach my ultimate weight loss goal and barely seeing my ticker move felt like a lifetime away, so to make life easier and more achievable Im going to "walk before I can run"

All in all I have about 5 stones to lose, possibly a bit more, not sure exactly, except I have a long way to go. So feel free to add me or comment below with any tips, advice or general chit chat... good luck everyone x

A stone is British measurement, in Britain we weigh using stones and pounds and in other countries people weigh in kilograms.

    A stone is 14lbs
  • Better reply lol wasn't really sure if "how many lbs are a stone" was being asked or just generally as in never heard of it. Gets confusing sometimes as a lot of people on here use kilograms
