Heart rate monitor

Does anyone use the wrist heart rate monitor to keep an accurate calorie burn count? Just curious about what brands are good and if it is worth the investment.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The watches that don't come with a chest strap aren't as accurate.
You also get what you pay for, so don't cheap out if you're serious about using a HRM0 -
they are worthwhile, definitely get one with the chest strap. both the calorie count and heart rate are much much more accurate on my Polar FT4 than they are on any cardio equipment alone. many gym machines will also read the signal from the chest strap and display your true heart rate.0

I would suggest NOT buying the wrist type monitor. Get one with the chest strap. I highly recommend Polar.0

I have a Polar FT60 and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Highly recommend the ones with a chest strap also!0

I have a Polar FT7 and wouldn't buy anything less. It also comes in Men's and Women's styles. The strap is very comfortable and washable. The watch keeps an accurate calorie count too. I consider it an essential piece of equipment.0
