Need mini goal ideas.

I have long term goals to strive towards, but most of them are going to take at least a year or more, so that makes it easy to get frustrated or procrastinate. So I created a bunch of mini goals.

But now I've completed all my mini goals so I can do pretty everything I'd want to do.

As we approach colder weather, I need new ideas for mini fitness/ health goals. In particular I'm looking for things that would take a month or two of working towards to achieve.

Also, just increasing reps, or increasing time doing a particular exercise doesn't hold much interest as that's what I did most of last year.

Any suggestions???

Depending on where you live, you could try some of the outdoor winter sports; snowshoeing, cross country skiing. Yes, an investment in equipment, but you can do them most anywhere there is snow. I ski in my city park, but I can also go other more fun places to ski or snowshoe for a treat or reward.

Thanks for the outdoor ideas. I thought i would consider adding in some snow shoes. I'll probably rent for a month or two to see if I really like it or not. (I used to go, but haven't been in over 10 years)

Last winter I was down 40 pounds and was freezing all the time and miserable. I had to get long johns and wear them every day, so while I'm going to try winter sports this year, I'm not sure I'll do very well at it till I get used to having less "insulation". :)

I would love to try zumba. I think I'd find it addicting - in a good way. Unfortunately no places near me offer it.

I dance in my house, but I get tired of doing that alone. but you've given me a great idea. Maybe I need to find a place near by that offers classes...
