Running a 5 k this weekend!

I am running a 5k this weekend and am super excited! My question is, is it better for me to focus only on running this week or is it okay to continue my turbo fire/ chalean extreme hybrid as well as running? I really want to run it as fast as I can. Thanks!

  • Usually, I ease up a little on my training a few days before the event... That way, I feel more refreshed for the run.

    Since it's only a 5k, just do your regular routine. Take it easy on your legs a couple days before, and completely rest the day before.

    Good Luck on your run, I have been toying with the idea of running a 5k too (dont know why, because i hate running).
