exercise calories question

I have just recently started exercising. The calories added to my daily allowed caloric intake - Am I suppose to eat those calories. I am usually allowed 1200 a day but usually burn around 2-300 calories with exercise. So should I be eating around 14000 calories? Just a bit confused and I want to do this right.

You are going to get a million different answers on this, but my opinion is yes you should eat the calories burned in exercise. Your calorie goal of 1200 already has a built in calorie deficit, so if you do nothing you should lose weight with that many calories; but when you exercise you need to fuel that work out by eating more. So if you eat 1500 in a day, but burn off 300 exercising- you will still be netting 1200 calories. I hope this helps!0
