Calorie intake?

I was just wondering if it is okay to be way below my suggested calorie intake for the day? I know that working out on the elliptical burns about 500 calories in 30 minutes. Do I really need to follow the you can eat more if you work out more suggestion? It's been a week and I think my stomach had adjusted to the smaller portions. I've lost 2 pounds for the week and I just find it a little hard to believe. I feel great though!

I suppose it depends on if you chose to lose 1 or 2lb a week. It's advised to eat back atleast some of the calories burned though.0

General Rule is 1200 net calories for Women and 1500 net calories for Men.
No concern unless you are going below those numbers or if you on a plan that is being overseen by your Doctor.

Yeah, I was planning on 1 1/2 a week and I'm finding that it works better for me to do a workout mid -day.This tool has been very helpful though. Seeing everyone on here that have similar goals to mine has been extremely motivational!0
