Which way to go is more beneficial?

I have 415 calories left for the day, and I know my supper will be just below that. But I haven't exercised yet, and if I did I would burn about 450cals. I don't want to consume 800+calories because I know that's more food than I'll be hungry for, so do I skip working out? Is it better to be at a big deficit or not work out? Neither option seems good so I'm wondering what everyone else does. This doesn't happen often, but when it does come up I'd like to know the better option.

If it was me personally I would just work out and let the deficit lay. Being under wont hurt for one day. Just be a little more relaxed the next day instead.0

As a general rule I don't eat back my excersise calories (but I'm only in week 2) unless I am STARVING at night so I would work out and leave the calories as a deficit. No matter what one day of a big deficit isn't going to hurt you.0

I would work out, and if I was hungry after dinner eat some of the exercise calories. Maybe a nice dessert-type treat?0

I would work out. Working out has benefits that extend far beyond creating a calorie deficit.0

Have the dinner you planned and don't stuff yourself past feeling full.
I'd work out, and then have a small, nutritious snack after. Something like a small piece of fruit and a few nuts.
If you are really truly not hungry after you work out, then don't eat them back.
Good luck!0 -
I wouldn't worry about it if you're under for one day. If you were under the net goal more than once a week, I'd encourage you to eat more, but one day here or there isn't going to make or break your health. If you're anything like me, you'll eat over another day.0
