***CLOSED*** October Shredders Mini Challenge 12-10-11

Hello to all you gorgeous October shredders!!!! How are you all doing?
I thought I'd post my challenge early as I have a chocca full day tomorrow and not sure when I'll get chance to write this!
Since we have all been working our butts off doing the 30DS and these extra challenges, today's challenge is all about pampering ourselves and relaxation! I've set this challenge as I know what it is like to be run off my feet! I have an 17 month old, a part-time job, an active husband and two very lively dogs! And yes some days I do feel like I am running around like mad trying to please everyone in all the different ways they need pleasing...but it is also important to look after ourselves too! This site to me is about being healthy all round, and I strongly believe that if you have time to relax yourself, you can do everything better.
So the challenge is that you should try to give yourself at least 30 mins relaxation / pampering yourself. How you chose to do this is up to you, but if you would like to report back on here, I'm sure we'd all love more ideas :-)
Some ideas that come to mind for me include:
A bath
Give yourself a foot or hand massage (even better if you are lucky enough to have someone to do it for you!)
A manicure/ pedicure / face-mask
Watch a movie
Play / listen to music
Crafting hobby
Meditation / yoga
Etc (I know there are tons more!)
I hope this post doesn't offend anyone, it is aimed to boost moral, and give us a pat on the back because we SO deserve it!! And allow us a little rest before we get stuck in again!!

I think tomorrow night I will take a nice bath, do my nails and go shopping haha
I need new running shoes so don't worry I won't splurge -- and I am buying something that also supports my healthy living!!!0 -

So humm.. let see
I went and got my eyebrows done and I bought a new polish for my toes called "Hot Tamele" it's an orange and perfect for Fall so have painted my toes in that color and used my theraputic foot balm stuff that has aloe vera, tea tree oil, and chamomile.

So glad your all loving this challenge, we all deserve the pampering! I've not decided mine yet, I think I might do my nails and have a nice long soak in the bath!!

Btw Amber: I love the sound of your foot balm! Actually thinking about it, I may give myself a foot spa and make a nice foot lotion with some essential oils, get the candles on and put a movie on! After I've done the shred of course!! Thankyou for the inspiration :-)0
