Primal folks - I need reassurance!

I'm easing myself into the Primal lifestyle. It looks as if it will work very good for my lifestyle and I am convinced on the positive health benefits. I eat mostly wild meats and fish anyway, along with copious veggies and fruits, so transitioning should be relatively easy (assuming I can ditch sugar!).
But I'm concerned about the weight factor. I have a lot more to loose and I feel like I'm eating a LOT. I haven't completely switched over, so I can't really make a judgement yet. (today is my first day trying for 100%)
So, those who have been primal for awhile - have you really lost? how do you feel? what rates are you losing at? any problems or glitches? do you still keep track of calories?

Hi! I've been pretty primal since March and have lost about 53 pounds, and lose an average of a pound a week. I lost the rest of my weight counting calories and eating low/no fat. I find Primal is easier to stick to because I'm not always hungry, which the other way I always was. I keep track of calories only because I'm obsessive like that :-) Feel free to look at my diary, ignore the chocolate :-)0

Try it out, it is what our modern collection of science actually points to as the right path. Check out the material in my signature for reassurance.0
