    I use:

    ice cubes
    1/4 cup cold brewed coffee
    1 scoop of Spiru-tein
    1/2 banana
1/2 cup almond milk (unsweetened original or sweetened chocolate, depending on the flavor protein powder)

I blend it in my Magic Bullet blender; it comes out thick like a frappe.

    Pumpkin pie protein shake:

1 cup Almond Breeze unsweetened vanilla milk, 40 calories
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder, 120 calories
1/2 cup canned pumpkin, 40 calories
pumpkin pie spice, blend with ice

Whole thing ends up being 200 calories, 8 carbs, 6 fat grams, and 29 grams of protein. And it tastes yummy!

I've done the same thing, but swap peanut butter for the pumpkin, and that's really good too.

Myofusion Milk Chocolate Protein Powder + water = shake
  • My favorite protein shake is 1 cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (40 cal), 2 scoops of protein powder, 6 oz egg whites, 2 Tablespoons sugar free/fat free Butterscotch Instant Pudding Mix, and 1 Tablespoon of Reduced Sugar Peanut Butter. Tastes like a Butterfinger. Yum!

    5 oz chocolate muscle milk
    1 banana
    1/4 cup Greek yogurt
    Large handful of ice cubes
    Blender
    Yummy
I think the banana is key to smooth out the smoothie. So much creamier with banana!

It really depends on what I'm trying to accomplish. I take Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey.

    Carb-up days:
    2 scoops of whey
    1 serving of oatmeal
    1 serving of olive oil

    Low-carb days
1 to 2 scoops of whey
    1 serving of psyllium husk
1 to 2 servings of olive oil

1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop Jay Robb chocolate protein powder, 1-2 tbs peanut or almond butter, 1 tbs cocoa powder, ice. Sometimes I will add frozen blueberries or spinach. Lately I have been adding a few drops of peppermint extract. I swear my smoothie tastes like a Thin Mint cookie!

Like a real man does. Straight water. Its about muscle not taste!!

But if I am using it for a meal replacement in the middle of a saturday and I have the calories to spare. Well then we can get freaky with. Depends wht your doing with it. I am looking for extra protein every night so I just pound my 2 scoops with water.

    Items to add

    Natty Peanut Butter
    Fruits
    Oats
    Flax Seed
    Wheat Germ
a Modest scoop of ice cream
    Nuts

Boring as hell over here - not bothered about the taste, more about the effect.

Different depending on the days schedule and where I am in supplementation cycles, but the basics are:

    1 scoop whey
    1 small scoop creatine
Half a scoop maltodextrin OR half a scoop Dextrose
    1 small scoop L-Leucine
250ml water or skim milk (really need to get some almond milk!) - depending if it's a resistance day or a cardio day.

    Jay
