I see a trainer sporadically to make sure I stay on track and am doing whatever routine I'm currently doing properly. I had a session with him today and we were talking about various activites. He'd like to give skydiving a try and I see no reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. We've both ben repelling (it's been about 20 years for me but I have done it) and he brought up zip lining. That's one of those things that I haven't done since I've spent the vast majority of my adult life overweight and I said so. The rest of the conversation went something like this.

"You're good to go. You could do it now." - Clinton

"I still weigh 215 lbs." - Me

"So do I."

"Yeah, but you're a lot more solid than I am."

"Yeah, but 215 lbs is 215 lbs. If I can do it then so can you."

At this point it kind of started to sink in that he was right. There are a lot of things I'm not too fat to do anymore. I've been thinking about this all day and it's really hard to get out of the "I'm too fat" mindset but I think I'm finally heading in the right direction. It's a liberating feeling.

On a similar but different note, am I the only one that can't stop gravitating towards the big and tall section? It drives me nuts when I'm looking for clothes. I blink and I'm automatically in the big and tall section.

That's awesome! I can picture your trainer saying that too! :)
