Keeping up your enthusiasm is the best tip I can give. I joined in Jan but quickly lost motivation. A friend inspired me to start again in August and its been much easier to stick with it once I started using the community support and social aspects. Try to find a friend or family member who would be willing to go on this journey with you.
Also, don't deprive yourself. Remember to try to meet your daily goal (your deficit is built in). Eating too few calories will slow down your progress. Slow and steady wins the race. Look at those under calorie days as an opportunity to treat yourself.
