Cardio and Strength Training together?

Quick opinion question... does it make a difference if I do my cardio and strength training on the same days or on separate days?
I've been pressed for time lately, and am trying to fit in workouts when I can. I'm not really in a position to do cardio and strength training in the same workout session. I don't really like those combo DVDs that work both. I prefer running and lifting weights on alternate days. Am I limiting myself by doing this or is it ok?

From what i have been told it is fine to do on the same day or even in the same session. Do your weight training first and then finish up with cardio.0
