Do you have a poker face, or wear your emotions on it?

Myself, I have NO poker face at all.
Anybody who knows me well can tell exactly what I'm thinking when I'm thinking it.
What about you?

Neither do I, I am an open book. I can not hide anything, and that can get me into trouble.0
-
I've been told you can always tell when I'm thinking, but rarely what I'm thinking about.0
-
I am mouthy with an expression to match, lol. :huh:0

Both depending on the situation.0

Heh. I wear my emotions on my sleeve. You know exactly how I'm feeling.....0

No poker face here. I think I must have flashing letters running across my forehead!0
-
Open book here too. I can't even lie when stuffs not going my way.0

People tend to just know when I'm pissed off...0

You can usually read me like a book0

NOTE TO SELF:
do not play poker with Carl...0 -
I think with me it depends on who I'm with. If I'm with friends and family, everything is written all over my face, I can't hide anything.
If I'm around people I don't know or I'm in a professional setting, I can keep my emotions under wrap. I can't tell you how many times someone has said "I had no idea you were angry/sad/nervous etc. You couldn't tell. You seemed so calm."0 -
I just make weird faces - therefore becoming incomprehensible - emotions pretty easily masked0

This, exactly this0 -
I can't lie. Its impossible for me to tell a lie for many reasons. I wear my heart on my sleeve, I cry when stressed, happy, sad, scared, angry, etc.
The same goes for telling a lie to a person, it shows on my face. Like its painful for me. Don't ask me how I am if you know I'm feeling sad, I'll cry. Don't ask me if you know you look like crap and you want me to make you feel better, I cant.
People think I'm rude, but I can't help it. I try and try and keep my emotions in check. Its impossible.0 -

Same with me. Sometimes I wish I could lie but I'm an absolutely horrible liar because of my facial expressions.0 -
I have rosacea, so I turn red whenever, I am embarassed, angry, lying, hot, well just about every frickin emotion turns me red haha.........really red0

Work is usually different. At work nobody notices, or cares if anything is awry.
But at work, where very litlte personal feelings are involved it's quite simple.0 -
I wear my heart on my sleeve....literally. I even had a heart tattoed there! I can't hide my emotions - at all.0

Now I have that Lady Gaga song in my head. I might have to punch myself in the face until I die.0

Very little emotion at work. I keep it very professional, even when some d-bag's laying into me because he can't figure out why I won't build an application for him when he still hasn't defined the requirements >:-]
At home's another story, as my wife and kids can attest0 -
Well, it doesn't really matter what my face says because I am the type who shuts down when I'm mad or upset. I don't want to talk to you, look at you, or even be in the same room with you. I need half an hour or so to be silently pissed and secretly hoping you feel like garbage for whatever you did, and then I'm over it.0

Haha. Those that are close to me say that my "eyes glow" when I try to tell a lie. I cannot do it! (so games like BS and poker...I lose)
But, when it comes to almost all other emotional responses you cant tell. I was raised with my dad telling me that tears and such were weak...so I tend to be a closed book.0 -
Everyone I know thinks I'm angry all the time. My face just tends to resemble a scowl a lot... I'm not angry, you just can't tell how I really feel.
And I host regular poker parties at my house (well... when I'm at home and not deployed, that is... lol) and I often walk away with the most money, so I figure that's saying something.0 -
I have to cover up all my feelings. If i let my guard slip for a second, the effects could be catastrophic.0
-
Same here - when around my boyfriend or friends, I am not afraid to show emotions. When at work or in public - I have the best poker face and nobody can tell when I am stressed or flustered. :glasses:0

I cant hide anger or sadness, which I hate!:grumble:
But I can usually keep a cool and level head during an emergency or otherwise crisis situation, even though I am usually freaking out on the inside. It always catches up with me eventually and I will find myself crumpled up on the floor crying a few days later. :frown:0 -
I have the best poker face ever! Im very secertive and quiet I dont let to tell people about my emotion and feelings. I just keep it inside.0
