Working harder and eating better...

I havent been losing the weight as fast as I would like...so I thought I would increase my exercise, and change my diet up to having less carbs. Well i was expecting a double digit weight loss, but it was only 3 pounds. I don't understand how upping your exercise and cutting out bad foods for you would keep your weight loss the same?!?!!? I see some people on the biggest loser losing 10 lbs a week, and they only got 2 hours a day with that! I get more then that usually every day!!!
Any suggestions on how to drop the weight faster? I will slow the weight loss down after my trip in 1 month, but I want to be the smallest I can be for my trip!!

Are you eating enough? If you aren't eating enough, you won't see much of a weight loss. Our bodies NEED fuel in order to lose weight. I know it sounds counterproductive, but your body won't be comfortable losing weight if it isn't getting the proper nutrition to function correctly.0

I ate almost 1500 calories yesterday and went over on my protein, so as hard as it is to eat more then usual, I'm trying!!!0

You do realize that the people on the biggest loser have crazy daily caloric burns and a highly restricted caloric intake?
WHY would you be expecting a double digit loss? 3lbs loss over a week is fantastic and you should be happy with it. We didn't gain fat overnight and it's not going to vaporize overnight with a bit of exercise.
Take it one day at a time. Make slow changes. Be conscious of what you are eating and putting into your body. Go outside and enjoy being outdoors.0
