Hey guys you probly already know how to make low fat chilli. However I made mine quick and it was great..

I had tomatoes in can with kidney beans in one big pot, then in the other pan i made my regular hamburgar and onions for the regular chilli for the family,

Added a pkg of chilli seasoning in my pot of beans and tomaoes,

I took a chicken breast from "tyson grilled and ready bag" heated it up in micro to warm cut it up,

took some tomatoes and beans out of big pot for me in a little pot and added my chicken breast and let it simmer for 10 minutes on low to get juices and seasoning threw out the chilli,

added the hambugar into the big pot of tomatoes and beans that was chilli for the rest of the family.

So this way i made me "grilled chicken chilli" .... and my family regular chilli with hamburgar at the same time.

Hope that was not confusing i have a hard time articulating what im trying to say lol.

    Sounds like a great idea and also easy to do.
    The last batch of chili I made a week ago I used dried beans and fresh diced tomato to avoid the added sodium and sugar the canning process uses. I've found so much hidden sodium I never knew existing just by reading the labels! Its helped a lot in my weight loss and also my blood pressure numbers. You could also pick the 'no salt added' tomato and 'low sodium' versions of the canned beans. That packet of seasoning probably is another culprit. I used chili powder, real sugar, and salt substitute to spice up my chili, but I like it pretty bland anyway.

    ur right about the sodium, i do get the low sodium when i can. This was very quick and easy on a day i had to work. So it is good tasting and it was low fat and better then hamburgar chilli.
