Exercise Calories on very high burn days

I eat my exercise calories, usually all of them, most days. My question is for days with very high burns - think 1000+ additional calories. If my calories are already set at 1200, in order to net 1200, I have to eat them all back. Depending on the circumstances and timing, it may be difficult to impossible to comfortably eat those calories back if I am not used to eating that many calories. What is the suggested amount to eat here? Just until comfortably full?

Depends on who you ask, as everyone will have a different view!
Personally, i just try to get at least 1,200 net, but not religiously. If I have a really high burn day, say a badminton match which is around 1,900 cals, i just let it go, and carry on as normal the next day.0
