What is a good pre workout snack??

I was thinking some almonds, and dairy?? but I want some thoughts on what everyone else does?? I have Kickboxing this evening, its late, ends around 8:45pm, so I don't want to eat anything heavy after....

just a well balanced meal. protein/carbs/fats.
you're gonna want some energy.
still wouldn't hurt to have something to eat after if you've got room.0 -

For cardio worout, a cup of strong coffee, 30 min prior to workout. If I am using weights, a protein bar/shake or even a PB/jelly sandwitch on low carb wheat bread with 40 cals.0

I like to have half a peanut butter sandwich or some tuna. I tend to drink water or gatorade before and throughout my workout. Not too much, but something that satisfies and provides protein and energy. I feel sick and can't get the full experience if I don't eat enough before I work out.0

Peanut Butter on toast or celery. I also like turkey and cheese rolls (2) with a small spread of honey dijon mustard. (Choose a low-fat cheese, low-sodium turkey). Yummy!0
