I always plan my meals out the day before making sure what I have will either be enough or too much and I need to cut back.

I usually do some planning in advance. I'll be having homemade jambalaya for dinner and coconut gelato for dessert.

I try to plan out meals for the week, but it doesn't always workout when you're planning a wedding and have things to do ALL the time!!!

Tonight we are having hamburgers on the grill and baked sweet potatoes.

I'm eager to see if we have greater weight loss with planners?
  • I always plan meals 2 weeks in advance. I have a big family and I'd rather exercise, than waste time grocery shopping every few days. I have basic pantry staples that I always incorp., but I love that no one bugs me with "what's for dinner mom?" cause it's printed and up on the fridge for the next 2 weeks.

As for tonight, I am making Extra Lean Italian Veggie Meatloaf, I use only egg-whites, add Plain Panko, diced carrots, onions, garlic, peas, a mix of Mrs. DASH seasonings and topping it with pureed roasted red bell peppers mixed with Mrs. DASH Extra Spicy. On the side will be Cubed & Roasted Sweet Potatoes with a pecan & maple drizzle and a Spinach & Cranberry Salad.

planning is actually "starting" to be fun!

It makes life sooooo much easier.
  • today i had a jacket potato with a sole fillet and a side salad, my favourite meal i think. i love fish!
i don't really plan what to eat, just have a look in my cupboards at whats there and then only eat it if it's a relatively low number of calories

I also plan my exercises the for the week... So I know for sure I get them in, so there are no excuses.... Sometimes life works better when you plan things out. I do understand sometimes things come up, but you just have to work around those things. :)

I try to plan my whole week in advance if possible. It is just way too tempting to say "meh, let's order take out" when there's nothing planned and that can REALLY screw up my weight loss!

Tonight we're having sausage/pepper/potato roast. I found a great locally made low fat sausage and try to cut down as much on the potatoes as hubby will stand (the man loves him some potatoes!!) to make it as lean as I can. Also skimp on the olive oil a bit and use nonstick tinfoil to help keep things flowing instead.
