BMI 35+ and running 5K

I'm looking for men or women that have a 35+ BMI and are currently or attempting to run 5K.
I've just finished the c25k program and can now do a 5k in 43:30. I finished my only timed race last in my age class.
I also finished very low in the "Clydesdale" class, which is over 200lbs. As I am over 300lbs, that is a pretty big gap.

I'm looking for comparisons and support as I attempt to get my time down to 35 minutes.
My current plan is that I have restarted the c25k program but instead of walk/jog I am doing jog/faster jog.

If you were in this category before and accomplished this, also feel free to comment or add me.

Please note this thread in any add request.

Doesn't matter where ya finished - cause you finished! The more you run, the more you lose, the faster you'll go. ;)

I started with 19 minute miles back in March. Now, I'm running 12 minute miles and will complete my first half marathon in 3 weeks! Keep up the hard work!
